Scenic Enjoyments

So, do people carry any kind of cameras with them to take in the scenic sites.

I am sure that those of your that are native Oregonians, taking photos would not be your 'cup of tea' as the scenery is your native state. I am from MN so hills are almost foreign terrain.

And I must admit that biking and photography are significant points of interest / hobbies for me. :shock: :?

Smartphone cameras are pretty good; but not a substitute for a good DSLR.

Bring whatever you are willing to carry. Smart phones are perfect for a novice but a true shot needs a proper camera.

I've carried a point and shoot on all 8 CO's. There are usually several folks with DSLR's with multiple lenses.

My first CO few took pictures but with the improvement in cell phone cams now it is a common site and lead to the demise of the commercial photographer on CO.
