Having a hard time finding cycle clothes that fit?

Postby eljugador » Tue Mar 18, 2008 10:41 am

At 6'6" 350, there isn't any cycle gear that fits me. Last time around, I had some stuff custom made by an outfit in Colorado called Boure (easy to find with a Google search).

They make high quality, reasonably-priced gear (less than $160 for a custom bib for example).

They also have their act together. For example, they still have all my measurements from last go-around including notes, etc. on where I like the chamois placed.

If you are hard to fit, I highly recommend giving them a try. Being able to breathe while riding is very nice.

Eljugardo:

If you want more cycle wear that is not quite the cost of custom made, you may want to try:

http://aerotechdesigns.com/menshort.htm (men's shorts up to 5XL with a 56 inch waist)

and

Performance Bicycle (Their website has a lot and in the store at Mall 205, I have seen XXXL men's clothing)

I've noticed both sell larger men's items.
