tips for getting Help

Postby Jackson » Sat May 30, 2009 12:32 pm

If you need assistance in any organized ride, the universal symbol for help is "thumbs down". It also helps to show your thumb by holding your hand away from your body so the thumb can be clearly seen.

In addition, the "thumbs up" tells the driver that your doing fine and do not need any help.

A waving hand mean "Hi" but we will most likely still slow and ask if you need assistance.

If you find yourself just hanging out and socializing along the side of the road, please use the "thumbs up" to let us know you are fine so we don't need to stop and check.
