Great designs and a great thing to get done. A word of advice -- to keep a tattoo looking good for a long time, you need to take care of it. Sun is not a tattoo's friend. Keep it covered when you can. If not, at least be very good about keeping strong sunscreen on it. Do you guys mind if I put these shots on the FB page and, possibly the blog?

Thx.

Dean,

No problem as far as I'm concerned so Blog away. What's the FB page?

Gene "riding2live" Jones

"Riding2live" refers to attempting to stay "heart healthy" after a wee heart attack and a 5-way by-pass 8 years ago. Hard riding is better than the alternative.

Suzie,

I don't have pictures of the mural and his web site doesn't show that side of the building. I will see about getting a picture. The mural was big news in Atascadero as the city wanted to charge Keith for a sign and he said it was art. In the end he won and got lots of free publicity. Log on to www.foothilcyclery.com and look at his logo. I was in the store yesterday to pick up a new bike and noticed his logo for the first time. It is not quite the same as your tat but close.

Johnncarol,

Saw the mural on the web. Very colorful and cool, more art deco than my tat but very nice!

Suzi,

The tat' is coming along just fine. As time goes by I may think of some refinements to help enhance but like Felix says, "sometimes less is better!!" How about that a tattoo artist that's a philosopher + talking me out of a little more expense (less money is HIS pocket).

BTW, I definitely see some plageurism between the wall mural and your daughter's design (not).

Shifty,

Where did you get that picture of the mural? Do you live around Atascadero? Keith would be happy to see his business advertised on this forum. Two of us from Paso and two from Templeton are going up on Friday.

I just did a Google Image search on K Man Cycles and the image was on the website. I downloaded the image to my Photobucket account and linked it here.

This is the source of the photo http://www.cyclelicio.us/2010/01/bike-m ... adero.html
