Sandwiches in Walla Walla

Postby Red Zinger » Fri Oct 15, 2010 10:32 am

Now that I see people are still checking the forum now and then, I have a question. At the rest stop in the park at Walla Walla (day 7), a smiling volunteer handed me a little sandwich. It was on Dave's Killer Bread with some kind of spread reminiscent of chocolate and hazelnuts. Anyone know what that was? I'd like to get some, but it's mysteriously evasive... :)

I didn't have that but what you describe sounds like Nutella. Available at Costco, I think. mike.....

The spread you are referring to is Nutella and should be widely available. I purchased a jar at Safeway after the ride.

Thanks, everyone. I see I've been looking in the wrong places...our local food co-op, the natural foods section at Freddie's, Trader Joe's... :P
