'06 Bianchi Volpe

Steel is real!

25mm tires
Big tripple up front and 11-32 in the back.

Broke my frame in December, it brazed up better then before. I've put wear marks on my chain stays from loose cleats that would make carbon fiber owners cry, I just paint over it and keep going.

Does anyone know a place where I can rent a bike for the week? I am traveling from DFW and want to at least consider renting. I ride a Cannondale SuperSix but would consider rolling on a touring bike for this ride.

Any suggestions?

Contact Bike Gallery in Portland. They're a sponsor as well as the mechanics along the route. They will know, if they do not provide rentals, where you may be able to rent one.

I'm thinking maybe a recumbent quadracycle for next year. Oh, and it will require a team of 5 to operate it. I'm thinking four strong UofO linemen for the pedals while I steer. Force5robert won't have to yell out "ON YOUR LEFT" cuz he'll be able to just ride thru underneath.
