With 2200 riders, there will be a significant number of us who are in revocery from alcohol addiction. Do any of you wish to get together during this year's ride?

Yes, that would be great! Maybe a sign could be posted at the CO INFO center with a time/place for us to have a meeting??

I really understand the "yipee." Only seven months here but the best seven months of my 57 years. This is my first CO and I am training every day. It would be pretty cool to have a meeting outside after a day or riding in beautiful Oregon. Hope to see all of you in September. I will work on getting a flag or marker of some sort. Mike

If the Friends of Bill are seeking a place to meet in Reedsport on September 12th, let us know and we can provide you a location which is near the camping areas. by Joe Coyne part of the Welcoming Committee jcoyne8@yahoo.com

I'm interested in joining in some fellowship too. How has this worked in past years on Cycle Oregon? Probably a message board posting or something similar would get the word out sufficiently. Maybe an announcement from the stage on night 1 so people know where to check for meeting info.
Although meeting at the campground makes sense in most towns, I see there is an 8:00pm meeting Tuesday in Bandon that is about a 10 minute walk from the City Park we'll be based in. Anyone want to walk over there with me and get a little local flavor on recovery? Jeff

Yes, the meeting in Bandon at 8 p.m. on Tuesday sounds great! Glenna and Matt will look for a message on the message board for AA related posts, and leave our camp location there as well...

I'd love to see a meeting organized in our camp each night -- anybody setting one up? I'll look on the bulletin board for Friends of Bill W. postings. I'd really like to get a meeting in BEFORE Bandon on Tuesday...

Would love to have a meeting in Reedsport. Just tell me where to show up. (Just celebrated two years after a relapse...)

Hello new Friends!
I'm bringing my Big Book and printouts of materials for meetings: Preamble, How it Works, Traditions, Promises. Happy to secretary a day or two, in the spirit of rotation. Yippee! :D Michelle McBee (925) 200-0078.

A meeting has been set up in Reedsport on MON night at 7:30pm and will be held at the Presbyterian Church at 2360 Longwood Drive just down the way from both camp grounds  If one of the group could call Dennis Toney of Reedsport) he will get the coffee going and open the room.  His number is 541-271-2436.

An earlier location at the Highland Baptist Church had been suggested at the same time about a block away on the same side of the street and that meeting is cancelled

It may be too late for the daily paper "Cycle Oregonian" to change the listing and we will have information on the meeting at the information booth and around

Again if there are any issues give me a call.
