Cash or debit?

Postby gcrays » Wed Sep 05, 2012 8:51 pm

I can't remember if the beer garden takes debit cards. Ditto for massages. Anyone?

Both take both option but bring plenty of cash for Sherpas, buying local treats and incidentals.

massage therapists accept credit/debit. Beer garden? Unknown--not a fan. But yes, bring plenty of cash (2-300) is all I ever needed and a credit card. If a card is acceptable use it and save the cash. Brings lots of $1 bills figuring about $4 a day for sherpas ($2 to schlep your gear to the trucks in the AM and $2 to tote your gear out to a camp site). Worth the money in my book anyday especially at the end of a long day of riding. I'd pay 'em to set up my tent (hmmm, why didn't I think of that before?).
Ride like the devil's behind you, becuz he is---and he/she is drivin' a car textin' on the phone.

Yes, they take debit. I know, because last year they kept mine overnight!* So if I unknowingly bought anybody a beer last year, you owe me one! :)
