CO likes to start this ride at or near a college to utilize the facilities and give rides the dorm option.

Hope it's not U of Nike. I am alergic to green and yellow - assuming those are still their colors du jour.

Eugene would be great.

So, from the last note it sounds like it may not be Salem this year huh?

Ashland has good facilities, but be ready for some climbing if it's down at SOU.

The weekend ride needs to start relatively close to Portland since all of the supplies, vehicles etc. need to be returned on Sunday following the ride. Most starts will be within a 2 hour drive of Portland. Think less than 2 hours for this year.

Consider this, we volunteers don't know the routes until they are announced at the Kick Off. Looks like my prediction was pretty accurate.
