Weekend Maps on your smartphone using Maprika

Something new for all you smart phone freaks. I have uploaded the Cycle Oregon Weekend maps to a new free app website called Maprika. If you install Maprika on your smart phone you can download the maps on your phone and use it to follow your location. I understand that it even works when you do not have 3G coverage – you can put your phone in airplane mode and save the battery.
I don’t always rave about apps – but this one is pretty cool. I think I might get quite attached to it – maybe even donate some money to it!
To find the maps – Maprika will let you use your finger to find the location and then select to map to download – or search by name. Search for - “Cycle Oregon 2012 Weekend Day 1” “Cycle Oregon 2012 Weekend Day 2”
I am also starting to upload some of my other favorite maps. One that is still evolving –“ Valley Favs” is a map showing all the best biking roads around the Champoeg Park area.
