Not sure even with a non loop route you can hit LO, PC and Williams. I think the clues are more subtle.

That being said I have no idea! Given the last 5 if they are looking for territory they have not been for a while, NW, SE, or the valley is an option.

BTW, has anyone actually found the ranches/brands they mention?

Bring lots of sunscreen. Not many trees on this one!!!
It's always sunny at 35,000 ft

Kudos to dunshay04 (great deduction from the clues), Capthawk and Leedo for route guesses. 2001 refresh it is! Now, I'm remembering a lot of gravel/dirt road to get to the Round Barn. They didn't say anything about this at the reveal. Has it been paved?

I got Burns and the Steens Mountains right. Would be nice to actually climb Steens Mountain if it is paved. Looks like an interesting route but I may pass. I guess I have 15 hours to decide.

Road to Steens Mtn. is 27 miles of gravel one way from Frenchglen, tough even for a mountain bike. Guess they learned their lesson last time and are not trying to shuttle people up to Steens Mtn, it was a total fubar. There was 5 miles of gravel between Crane and Seneca, not sure if it has been paved. Remainder of route is paved. Gravel was not a lot of fun in '01 as I recall, hope it is paved. '01 it was quite cool and rainy (thunderstorms), can't remember using sunscreen, but each year is different. Definitely not a lot of shade. Great route, very isolated, not many towns.

Great job everyone on the guesses. We always have so much fun trying to figure out the clues. We got John Day, Prairie City and Seneca right, but headed north instead of south on the route we posted. Our second route was down to Burns. Hope we all get registered tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
