Is anyone else having problems with the registration site? I tried to create an account, but am afraid their server has crashed

I don't think you have to create an account to register for CO. You only have to create an account if your organization wants to list its event on that website. Not positive though, but that's my take after reviewing the website.

I created an account last night and it worked. Not sure there is an advantage as it does not store any info (address etc)

Well that was a crappy, stressful expereince. 18 minutes of error messages before I got completely thru the process. They need to work on that.

Ditto here. Had 3 computers read to go at 11:45. Couldn't get in until 12:15 after numerous tries and error messages. Finally got in after switching from IE to Google Chrome. Bad/stressful experience. Last year was much smoother.

Still stuck - this registration service is unprepared and very poor. Mucho unhappy with this...

on step 7 of 7. site won't advance beyond this page.... waiting..

IMO Best ride in America just went to worst.

Registration last year worked fine, did they change the service?

I'm waiting now, using 2 browsers, chrome and firefox, on a wired connection.

someone screwed this up big time.

everyone I know is having issues...

12:38 now, past last year's sell out time....

12:48 using a 3rd browser I was able to get in and pay.

Keep trying. Clearly prerace.com is not up to the task. You'd sure think the CO IT gurus would fully vet whatever operation they hire to handle this, especially after last year. Apparently not.

I tried about 17 times (literally) and finally got my wife and myself registered, then another 12 (or so) times and got the RV registered, using two separate credit cards because their credit card processing was the tipping point about half of the failures, too.

Using prerace.com is like partying on the web like it's 1999.

Anyways see you guys in September. I'm (finally) in.
