Oahu is known for its mountain bike trails. I don't know who rents road bikes but there are several that do Mt bikes, maybe they would know about road bikes. Out by Dillingham there is little road traffic and I see a lot of roadies putting in their time, on the other hand get a mt bike, go out to Dillingham and ride around the NW pt, its flat gravel road almost no cars as the road is gated and the view is second only to Crater Lake.

I posted some questions about the kickoff party under the heading "clues for the clueless". Will someone clue me in?

Thanks,
John

With the current wet weather:

We should put fat pontoon tires on our bikes and ride down the Willamette and Coulumbia Rivers and then add small sails to our bikes and bike surf down the coast.

PS: Remember rubber side down.
