Will the 2014 ride, with 34,892 feet of climbing, be the most climbing ever for Cycle Oregon?

YES it will be. Next closest if you did all the options is #25 - 2012 with 30,577 - and then 11, 12, 17, 19, 20, 22, 8, 23 and 4 - which all range between 25,000 and 29,000 including options.

I still think #4 may have been the most difficult - it had no options, and the longest miles at 540 with 25,200 feet - but this year might be more difficult.

Cycle Oregon 4 was tough (Beaverton Fred Meyer to the coast, then back over to cross the valley and into Tygh Valley/Dufur area then up and over the shoulder of Mt. Hood to finish in Hood River)! Some referred to it was a _____ march. I remember there weren't many people with a lot of energy for evening activities. Many rode in, went directly to dinner (late - some in the dark), then showered and straight to the tents for the night. They served gazpacho (Italian cold soup) at the Day 6 Timothy Lake Lunch Stop after a cold/cool wet climb up from Estacada. Day 6 day ended with a perfect warm descent with tailwind on new pavement into Tygh Valley.

Is there a list of statistics for all the rides somewhere? It would be cool to see.

How fitting that that "most climbing ever" is announced the year I am going to make a return to riding on two wheels? ;-)

No lazily spinning up the hills this year - going to have to train and earn this one!
