CO = CO?

Postby Commuter » Wed Feb 05, 2014 11:11 pm

This is admittedly an obvious cheap shot, but the other CO (Cover Oregon) also proudly went-it-alone on signup website development, also promised an ambitious set of features for its website, also promised the site would be up and running right up to the signup date, and then also said it would be working after a short delay. Four months later, the other CO still does not have its website working. Hopefully THIS CO will do better.

It is good they delayed it to get more of the bugs worked out with the new site. Launching any type of website that is more than just information is difficult and it was good on them for acknowledging they were not ready and pushing out registration.

Hopefully they have contracted with some good web developers and have both a production and a development site that they are using for testing. Also I hope they have non-biased testers that can take a fresh look at the site and give good feedback on function and user experience.

I wish they didn't push it to Valentines day :roll: ... Hopefully registration opens in the AM and not the PM.... Or they push it to a Sunday afternoon when most everyone (east coast and west coast) can register without staying up late or jumping through hoops at work...
