GPS Files are DONE

Postby leisure1 » Sun Aug 31, 2014 10:57 am

I have uploaded GPS files to Ridewithgps.com All the routes start with "CO2014" to make them easy to find. You can save them to your computer as a GPX file - or if you subscribe to Ridewithgps.com you can upload them directly to your Garmin

In a previous post you let us know that the maps are also on Maprika, an app for smart phones. I used Maprika last year and I thought it was really GREAT and useful. For those who don't quite understand how it works, you do not need to have an internet connection to use it once you have down loaded the maps. Just an fyi for those who do not want to use RidewithGPS.

I also would like to request that our excellent Map King (or Queen) who does such a lovely job on these maps, to please add a date and day to them in the future. Sometimes I get a little confused about what day of the week say Day 5 is, it would be nice if it just said Day 5, Thursday, September 11th, for example. You are the best map maker in the world.
