Bring your rain gear...

in case you missed it from the "...but is it dry heat" thread: long-term weather forecasts are looking colder and wetter. Of course any weather forecast more than 3 days out is fictional, but the possibility that this could be a wet/cold/windy year is very real. We haven't had one of those since...uh...a long time (2006 coming up out of La Grande, rerouted due to snow on our way to Athena, maybe - riding through rain that by all rights should have been frozen...damn my hands hurt...)

Pack accordingly: plan on riding in the rain, plan on your tent being in the rain, plan on your bag being in the rain...and then celebrate if this doesn't actually happen. Or bring a bottle of wine over to the RV area and make some new friends in return for hanging out by the heater.

Sunday looks great, and then things get "interesting".

It is 106' with massive fires nearby where I live. Any rain for me will feel real nice.
