Has anyone done this ride? If so, what are your comments? Thanks. Sharon

Yaquina Lighthouse Century

I am signed up to do this ride, along with my son. I was thinking of doing the Vine Ride the day before as a warm-up, would appreciate any comments from those who have done the Lighthouse Century before - route, support, food etc. Wind? Traffic?

I did it last year. Very gorgous route. Not very many riders and fair amount of distance between food stations. Make sure to carry water and a little food.

I enjoyed it and plan on doing it again. Clyde

I completely agree with Clyde. A really nice, low key ride, but make sure to pack extra food and water; a long ways between the 3 rest stops on the century. We did it on our tandem last year.
