This forum doesn't seem to be very active... Is there a better place to find pictures from the ride? Anyway, here are mine. Please share yours.

It's my dog. I have thousands of pictures of him if you'd like more.

Say, do you know where I can find the photos I think were taken by the professionals at the finish line and along the route?

Wow. I was not on the weekend ride but it looks like crossing that bridge was a nightmare.

I don't know where professional photos are. I'd like to see them too. I can see that last year's week ride photos are here:

There is also this on cycleoregon website:

Ride Photography
A team of professional photographers will be on the course each day taking pictures. Pictures will be displayed at each overnight site. You can purchase individual pictures or an entire Cycle Oregon commemorative photo book.

That probably applies to the week ride only. May be organizers can shed some light.

not as bad as it looks

I was taking photos while riding, so it wasn't too bad. The worst part was on the return when two cyclists who were barely pedaling got a long line of cyclists behind them. It was a long wait to pass them.

My friend Marble Mountain Master says twice across the bridge is enough for one lifetime. Next time let's go somewhere with fewer cars.

The shoulder on the bridge is narrow indeed. I guess it depends on rider's experience. I did a lot of riding in traffic, for me it was no trouble at all. But I wouldn't be comfortable if I had a kid or a unexperienced friend with me.
To be fare, organizers did a good job warning drivers with signs, and they slowed the traffic a bit with SAG vans.

But, back to the topic. Does anyone else have photos to share?

I asked about the professional photos, and the photographer said that eventually there would be a link to them on the Cycle Oregon website. We'll have to search for our photos based on the time they were taken. That should be fun!

About where to put our personal photos...Bob and Rox Heath have a wonderful site, dedicated mostly to Cycle Oregon. They appreciate it if we submit photos from all the rides, which contributes to their efforts to provide a pictorial history of Cycle Oregon. There is some wonderful stuff there to read too. Here is the link:

Maybe Bob Heath will chime in and add helpful information. I have some photos from past years that I still haven't submitted. Sounds like a good wintertime project...
